in what category you would put it then? Sorry fellas that flick is STRAIGHT gangsta not gangsta like menace 2 society but gangsta like organized crew of gangstas who robbin a bank shootin cops etc.  8)

^^Heat is  a great movie but they are right.  Its not a true gangsta flick, you bring up a good point but it just aint the right movie for the thread.


a true gangsta movie or series is centered around the Mafia and represented with a somewhat accurate portrayal of La Cosa Nostra, organized crime, those movies or series are ones like,  Sopranos, Goodfellas, Godfather, Donnie Brasco, and The Untouchables  not ones like Scarface, Heat or Menace 2 Society.

The straight to TV movie 'Gotti' is worth checking out, has a few Sopranos regulars in it as well.
