I got some hot news from Yukmouth's camp and his label Smoke-A-Lot Records. The next release of the label will be The Thuglordz, the ultimate group consisting of C-Bo & Yukmouth called "In Thugz We Trust", which should be in stores around March or April of 2004. The record is completed, and will feature Spice 1 amongst others.
Also completed is the highly anticipated "Regime group album, "Regime Life" with Yukmouth, Tech9ne, Dru Down, Monstah Ganja amongst others. There is no set date for this album yet, but be on the lookout for it, along with Yuks follow up to his first DVD "United Ghettos Of America" with the soundtrack.

That's not it, Yuks also working on his next solo album "Million Dollar Mouth Piece" and the next Luniz album which is still untitled. These projects won't be out before the end of next year though.

Looks like it's gonna be a great year for Smoke-A-Lot fans, stay tuned for more news. Before I go, here is the updated roster of the label: Skrilla, The Fleet, Amp Pacino, The Regime, Monsta Ganjah, Nyce & Yukmouth.

  • The best in the game today....Black Jack Johnson
Looks dope.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
