if you're on cable or dsl, then you usually get the same IP all the time, unless your provider has a DHCP (automatic ip) system going on, which usually lasts between 8hrs and 8 days before you get a new IP

if its a dialup account, then ususally just disconnecting then reconnecting will work

most people are dynamic these days, but they normally always get allocated from the same range (block of ips their isp owns)

secret for a month? it might change.. try it...  but u cant really be secret.. like i said before.. u cant properly change it...  but u might be able to hide from whatever you want to keep it secret from...

i can tell u that your ip hasnt changed since u made this post a few days ago..
