I heard that Snoop Dogg (before Deathrow) was approached by ATL and Kokane about recording some demo tracks and Snoop said that it just didnt work out.  I cant remember where I read this but if anyones heard about this, let us know..  (not positive on this though)

Axle

I think he mentions it on Welcome To Deathrow DVD

You can talk about this kind of thing all day but there is so much that goes on behind the scenes that you won't know about.

ive got that westsiders book its tight. From what soopafly was saying it sounds like kokane has a drink problem, i also read in the past that he had a drug problem. Its a shame as i would really have liked for his album to have come out.

No offense guys, but how do we know that KoKane wasnt owed money

I'm not even a Kokane fan, but Kokane was on alot of Snoops shit, & regardless of whether no one gave a fuck about him before, the point is, Snoop should pay him royalty's for his work. Now he may have, he may not have, we dont know (Snoop, Kokane & people in doggystyle know the real deal), but if he hasnt he has every right to be angry

WORD....What I Was Thinkin Exactly.....Anyways I Got Mad Love For Kokane...Reppin P-Town To The Fullest

So tru.  I've been thinking that for some time now.  How artists go balls out dissin someone when theres beef.. but before they were doin songs together.. Just dont get it.  Daz cant rap since All Eyes??  I think its Kurupt who's fallin off since those days and most would agree.  I think their feelings get hurt and they cant handle it so they cover it up with anger.  Childish..

come on y'all are your memories that short from the dogghouse bootlegs kokane wouldda had a tight ass album n we didn't even hear all his tracks...

iraq would just get annexed by iran

That would be a great solution.  If Iran and the majority of Iraqi's are pleased with it, then why shouldn't they do it?

Well all I'll say on this humorous topic is is that actual words from Soopafly? I know a gang of killas and artists and believe me they don't have all double c's at the end of their words and what-not so how accurate is that statement? If it's truly him or his words transcribed then it is what it is, but since this is the internet and I've seen to much fake bullshit on here, I'll reserve comment on that, but as I have tried to reach and teach those who are in contact, when you deal with money, ego's, contracts, etc. etc. things always get taken out of context. I know shit about Kokane and the way he handles business and with Snoop and others artist/CEO's of label's that have wack ass business practices and IF YOU ARE NOT ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, YOU ARE GUARANTEED TO GET FUCKED IN THE ASS. This is really OLD, OLD news to me, but there are more angles to what's been said on the internet and both sides need to come clean, if not let your legal team handle it. Unfortunately my people who come from the streets rather apply total street knowledge to the music business and that never works it's 90% business knowledge 10% street knowledge. But again it comes down to contractual obligation if you say you are going to do something (on either side) then do it or compromise on something, that's why we bounced from Death Row, because we weren't going to stay on a label and unsure of release dates and other ammenities.
Also when doing hooks, vocals or what have you, usually when you are in a session(s), you get paid before and/or after the session is completed, if you help write the song, then you will get your credo and proper royalty payments (if you handled your business right from the start). So if Koka, Nate, and all the other singers just sung hooks then they got paid then and there (if they didn't then they played themselves) and it's a done deal, they don't get anything extra (unless a contract states otherwise). So Supafly produces as well rap, so of course his money is gonna be longer then just a singer/ sometimes-rapper (so it's simple to see how he is living better and not releasing a record).

And ATL learned alot from Dre and what-not, but at the same time Dre learned alot from the group on musical styles (since the whole Hutchinson/Long family are Motown pioneers and the whole family is musical in one form or another). ATL gave Warren his "G-Funk" style, When Dre didn't want to fuck with Warren or Snoop, Warren was always around the studio absorbing the G-Funk sound, and Snoop was to busy doing his thing in the streets to fuck with ATL on a regular, but he did hang around and picked up things here and there. We all know who the G-Funk child is and those who know their west-coast history know who his G-Funk fathers are. And only those just getting into music since 95 Pac wouldn't of known of Kokane or his history, in fact if it wasn't for  Dre really getting  behind Snoop and he just blowin' up, Soopafly, Daz, Kurrupt, and all of them wouldn't be as famous, so everything can be re-directed. Kokane is wrong for going on the internet discussing personal business point blank and Snoop is wise by not saying anything at all, that's why he's still in the game.

Ok, I'm confused on your quote, so, that was an actual Soopafly statement that he typed and sent over the internet? I still can't see the overt "gangsta" grammar included or is was it transcibed from over the phone?
and you are saying that he (Soopafly) is on the DPG forum?

Thanks for the clarification (it does wonders on the internet, lol).

im not that big a soopa fan, but for most part he was right. snoops albums got more exposure for kokane than anything kanes ever done for himself. if he thinks that he never needed snoop in the first place, then what right does kokane have to bitch about it? its not snoop or soopa's fault that nobody likes kokane
