Death Row Records R&B star Danny Boy now has his own imprint, Platinum Pearl.

The first release is "Platinum Pearl presents... The Come Up" which was originally scheduled for a late Nov release. It was pushed back a little to add some finishing touches. (Danny's debut solo album will still drop on Death Row Records sometime in '04.)

Platinum Pearl introduces 2 new artists, Bobbi Blaq and Mic Booq. Both are featured heavily with Danny on the album. The LP has something for everyone, Party tracks, Slow Jams, Neo-Soul mixed with Hip-Hop.

Danny's official site is allowing us fans to decide which song we prefer to be the lead single from the two choices below:

He's dropping his own compilation called The Come Up in January. I'm about to post another new song on Platinumpearl.com called "Runaway". Hopefully theres something you like and you go scoop the CD. His Death Row Solo release is due 2004.

You are right, homie. My bad. It's just a really busy time of the year for me, for my job. I didnt have time to check it. But thanx for the quote, and thanx to Seer and kristen for the news. I really thing DB has talent! Good luck DB! ;)

He's in the studio this week, doing a song for the Death Row Records solo, with one of the biggest names in R&B  :).

Remember Platinum Pearl is Danny's own label, it's nothing to do with Death Row.
