predictions for wsc sales

I think it'll sell like 125K in the first week, then eventually go gold. Can't see this one going plat. though. Regardless of how tight it is.

I say it will  pass platinum becuz i honestly don't remember any westcoast CD getting so much promotion since dre's 2001. even snoop's PDCTBTB didn't get this much promotion.

Honestly, i cannot see this album selling more than 1 mil, maybe not more than 700 k.  When you take a monotonous beat and throw Nate DOgg on a hook like every other single, the results are not always pretty, and I certainly dont know many who are REALLY feeling the single besides people on this board.  A pretty decent album, but i aint earing a hit single like Bow DOwn, or anything close.  peace

but dont forget, nowadays quality dont really count anymore. promotion is the key right here, and people get brainwashed by the media, so if they watch the video everyday and see the wscg commercial all the time which sais "the hottest album of the year" they will probably go out an buy it.  lets have faith they will

Here it is. The perfect reply. This album is far from being a classic album, ImO. But you know, that's not important if we talk about sales.

it should sell well being it's release is right before x-mas...i wouldn't be surprised if it sold 200k in the first week...i think it'll go gold pretty quickly like within a month but it'll take awhile to hit platinum, peace.

Also, I notice that many people outside of these types of boards, and the west coast, seem to think the west coast is dead and the westside connection is weak. At my college in FL , other than those from California and a few others like them, everybody else is like "wow you like them? They are sorry" etc etc

It's not passing 100k this week. I can tell by my area. Most people aren't coppin it because they aren't sure if it's gonna be like Bow Down.
