he got fired earlier this year after he tested positive on a drug test. He was asked to go to rehab but he refused so he was fired. He is currently working on his music.

i dont blame the guy.  he worked his ass off.  did some insane spots.  put his ass on the line more than any other wrestler in that federation an did the guy get anything close to a decent push.  hell now i dont blame the guy for losing interest in wrestling.  an i doubt he got suspended for drugs.  if they drugged tested half of them would test positive for steroids

everyone involved in the TLC matches put there ass on the line not just Jeff + the spots Jeff did aren't half as sick as the ones the guys from Special K , Amazing red , Mick Foley (in Japan and ECW)and Terry Funk use to do for like 1/10 of what Jeff Hardy is payed and half the recognition he gets.
Also Jeff Hardy had a main event Ladder match against The Undertaker for the undisputed title , even though he lost Undertaker raised his hand ,which is just as important as any push + at the time he was fired he was in a mini-feud with jericho and Shawn Micheals was his "mentor" that's a push

He tested positive for pot, they asked him to go to rehab he said no, so they fired his ass. Another reason he got fired was that ever since he had that great ladder match with Taker for the belt, he didn't put the same effort in his work anymore. He was showing up late for shows, and his opponents would have to work extra hard to make him look good.


His brother Matt says that expects Jeff to come back in the future once he get his pot problem under control.

RVD has been putting his ass on the line a lot more than Jeff Hardy, for a lot longer to. Jeff started to lose interest in wrestling it seems after he got his title shot, so it seems he really didn't want a push.
