the federation and e-40 - hyphy
« on: December 29, 2003, 10:28:07 AM »
correct me if im wrong, but i havent seen any threads about The Federation from the bay area.
they got a somewhat new single out called Hyphy (hi fee) featuring e-40. there is a remix to the song that features e-40, quinn, turf talk, and keak which is straight nuts! i got 5 on it remix style.

its getting pretty good radio play around here. the beats are produced by Rick Rock so you know the beat is bumpin!
i think their debut album is coming out soon, but they just have a cd single out with two versions of hyphy (one without e-40) and another song called "in love wiht a hoodrat"

The Federation is blowing up here in Los Angeles too.  I hear that song Hyphy on mix shows daily.  Good to hear 40 in heavy rotation.  Like WSC, E-40 is bringing some well deserved attention back to the west.  Gotta give props.
