But u dont hear 50 being played throughout tha hood here. Local artists get more love then him in the hood. He gets play on the radio, but i dont know too many muthafuckaz that support our radio. this coming from a kid that lives in a $800,000 home, with other kids, black and white in $800,000 homes. Most black kids I knew growing up only liked street shit. DMX, 2Pac, Ice Cube, a grip of Luniz fans, Bone Thugs was highly popular, No Limit got half love half hate. Now when I go back home, it used to be Kurupt got mad love, Dr. Dre, Snoop, Warren G, basically any old school rapper that put out a new CD between 1999-2002. Now I hear hardly anything bumping from CDs, just kind of radio stuff. Westside Connection get lots of play in cars, some eastcoast shit, like Nas's God's Son and 50 Cent's CD, but I rearly heard anything else except Lil' Jon and the Eastside Boys. Street heads don't really like that Nelly and when Ja Rule came to San Bernardino no one went as the area was only half full, only white kids were there, and a grip of hot ass women. I got free tickets 'cause my dad works there so I spend my time picking up on girls. Anyways back to what black people, at least in my part of So Cal, like. Roc-A-Fella has taken the place of No Limit back in the days with half hate half love, and people are just eating that Southern Crunk up. I mean that crunk shit is everywhere.
