now im a big laker fan BUT there is no excuse for the way they have been playing the last 4 games, i mean shaq and malone go out due to injury but that doesnt mean u just quit and thats what they have done the last 2 games (watching the game right now versus denver and they do suck badly)

i mean basically it has been Kobe Bryant and Gary Payton versus everybody else,  some players step up here and then but not on a consistent basis, one thing is for sure though is that their DEFENSE SUCKS, they got absolutely nothing and on offense they look confused, i mean they depend on Kobe every time

something has to happen cause they sure aint gonna win no championship this year, and Gary Payton aint too happy either

They have had injuries, ill give em that. So its kinda hard to knock em right now while they only have Kobe and Payton playin. But i dont think they would have kept up that fast pace they started with at the beginning of the season anyways. I aint gonna judge em right now, but for real...i dont see them winnin anything this year. Their bench is gonna hurt them in the playoffs. U see as soon as Malone went out, they couldnt win shit...and that was with Kobe, Payton, and Shaq all in the lineup. Sacramento and San Antonio are too consistent right now for LA.

yah. Its cus they dont run they mouth alot, or search for the spotlight. Plus, fans dont appreciate good defense. Kinda the same thing that happened to Payton when he was a Sonic. He was one of the most underrated point guards EVER i think. The Spurs are pretty underrated, even the 2 championship years. And true like u said, i dont think theyre even playin their best yet.

Ummm, no...Sac or San Antonio can't even come close to a healthy Laker squad...Keep in mind they haven't been 100% healthy all year, and they're still holding it down...And why are you talking shit about Kobe's shoulder injury? That was the same shoulder he had surgery on during the summer, and it looks like he'll be out for a while...The only reason he came back in the 2nd quarter was cause the X-rays were negetive...LOL

Like i said, Laker fans talked this shit last year...and saw their team bounced out the playoffs without even makin the conference finals. Im pretty sure itll happen again. They have no defense, and no bench. Scitt...the names u listed arent that great man. If ANY of them were...your team would have kept pace when Malone went out. And regardless...STARTING the season hot, gets u nothing really. If youre not peaking at playoff time...no one will give a shit if u started 15-1...or whatever yall record was. Even if the Lakers were completely healthy...they would have started slipping. And the only reason i brought up Kobe's injury is cus he has a little habit of bringing attention to his injuries (no matter if theyre major, or minor injuries) lol. Kinda funny to watch him draw as much possible attention to his shoulder as he could!
