The lyrics to the song dont make me think he's cool with that person and/or he has respect for him. I still think it's weak to diss and not say who you're dissing, so when that person ask him "yo TQ is that about me?" he can deny.

Well, the song is at least 4 years old and things can change in 4 years. And like I said, the person that the song is about knows it.

Tho the song is banging, I love the song, I think it's funny to listen to it now. It's ironic, at least, considering his latter musical decisions.

His style didn't change though. And don't start about KeepItOnTheLow because Cash Money wanted him to do the song.

I'm not getting in a discussion about TQ because I like TQ, but that doesnt mean I am feeling everything he does or that I agree with his decisions. I havent heard anything from him that I liked in 4 years, plus "The second coming" was, though quite nice, very dissappointing for me. And yeah, I know about him not wanting to release it.

Keep It on the low is average r&b, and I dont care who wanted him to do the song, the fact is that he did it and release it. What happened to that TQ that moved labels because he didnt want nobody to tell him to water down his lyrics? As you say, lots of things can change in 4 years. And TQ has changed, and not for the better IMO. There are lots of artists I love that changed styles or aint hot anymore, I accept it and move on. Cant deny the facts.

Anyway, I'll be checking Gemini and I hope it to be dope as much as you. But if it aint I'll stop checking for TQ, cause I cant be checking for him all my life just for one classic record. Believe me, I REALLY want Gemini to be like TNSMC.

man you cant speak on his style changing because of cash money without hearing more tracks off gemini. i have 5 tracks and the only one that is bullshit is keepitonthelow, the rest are the classic TQ. the second coming was a great album and it wasnt tq that didnt want it released it was sony/epic that kept fuckin up. compared to they never saw me coming, the second coming was dissapointing but it was better than most R&B albums.

Yeah, I said The Second Coming is dope, but after TNSMC it is dissappointing. And you're right, maybe I aint heard enough to tell if he changed style or not, but I am just talking from what I heard. All that stuff about Cash Money directing his music and shit...that's out of my reach, all I know is I aint heard good TQ music since...well, a few years ago. And I'm telling you, I really HOPE Gemini proves me wrong, changes my mind and shuts my mouth.

Notice I aint saying nothing bad against the man, I love TQ. It's just that I miss the TNSMC days, and sometimes I trip a little bit LOL!

trust me on this dude...and im sure mauzip will agree...once you hear "The Ghetto", "I Remember", "Angela Jones", & "Our Life" (which you've prolly heard) you will change that tune...those tracks are some of the best i've heard and they are all from gemini. i hate keep it on the low...i was very dissapointed with tq until i heard the interview where he said he didnt want to do that track. that was all cash money.

Also, listen to "Think About You (Looking Through The Window)" and "Gimme Some". Both are TQ songs that are not from "Gemini". 2 amazing songs :)

gimme some is a great song but more the cash money style imo...but not because of tq its actually cuz of baby.

think about you is a great example...in fact the other day i was talkin w/ sgv on aim and he said tq is nothing but a rap artist in an R&B singers body...so i sent him a clip of think about you and he changed his tune.

yeah but think about how many guys out there that would wear high heels...prince is the only dude i can think of.... but you're all probably absolutely correct - i don't think he would diss prince either, just kind of an absentminded assumption i had.
