Well, I have the original one on dvd already, But I recently ordered the 1998 remake off the internet without ever have seeing it...It should be here in a few days...just wondering if anyone that has seen the movie can give me a quick little review of it?  Thanks

i havent seen this one but the OG was cool...it was corny as fuck but i expected that from an alfred hitchcock movie...it was still very good for being that old.

I thought it was a good movie.  Vince Vaughn is cool, he plays bates in it.  I'd definately suggest getting it if you like the whole Psycho story, and if you can get it cheap.  I see it around here on vhs all the time for like 3 bucks.

hm, dont know how shall I put it... but I dont think it's a real remake.. labeled a remake, but aint one. it's a shame.

Which one is this? 'Cause if it's the one I'm thinking of, it's a literal remake - they reshot each scene in exactly the same form and structure as the original - it's the only reason people talked about it, 'cause most 're-makes' these days change the original and this one didn't.

Exactly, it was almost identical, with new actors.  Pretty good movie, I thought.

If you seen the original there's really nothing to look forward to really... The only real difference is that it's filmed in color. Oh and Vince Vaughn jacks off at one scene which didn't happen in the Hitchcock flick.

That's about it really. Kinda a waste of film doing a remake and not changing it at all.

Well, I liked the first Psycho movie....but I've heard mixed reviews on this one...Some say it sucked and some have actually liked it...but I guess I have to see it for myself to really decide...Btw, I just saw Freddy Vs. Jason again....Love it...
