House is REALLY good, imo.  Also, Psycho 2, i always thought was good.  People act like it messed up the first one, but I don't feel that way.  It's a good sequel, don't expect a masterpiece, but it's pretty good.  I used to have nightmares about that movie as a kid.

You forgot probably the greatest horror movie of all, The Shining.

Gotta add in two horror classics from Japan:

The Ring (not the wack ass American version)
The Audition

They fuck with you psychologically, especially Audition.

It's been YEARS since I saw house, so NIK can annoyingly chime in and tell me where I'm wrong and He's right, but if I remember, the First house was a straight up Horror movie about this different dimension caught inside this house, and the second House movie was actually a COMEDY, and actually pretty fucking funny.  It was still a horror movie, but had comedic elements, with a similar expanded storyline.  The second one is the one I've seen the most.

From hearing what you said about it, I think I have seen it on T.V. once....I may be wrong but is this the movie where the house is killing people and the people are having trouble finding a way out?  any more info would be great, Thanks...

the way you guys are describing the house remake it sounds like it could be thirteen ghosts or house on haunted hill...they both have a similar storyline to what you guys are saying.

i'd have to say a classic would be the blair witch project...oh wait you said horror not horrible...umm then Psycho (even though it wasnt scary) and Dracula

yeah man house is the shit, I seen the second one too, and yeah its pretty funny.  they got that like green dog/worm and that thing used to make me laugh.  I can't really remember much at all about the movies, but yeah there is something about a different dimension.  Man, makes me really wanna go rent those movies now.  All I remember about the original house is there is some crazy creature(s) in it.  like some flying dragon type thing, and something that comes in throught the chimney and fireplace.

oh yeah some more classic horror movies:
poltergeist I and II
children of the corn
cats eye

anyone ever seen a movie called Munchies?  I remember that movie was the shit back when I was a kid.  Its kinda like a mix between gremlins and critters.
