Here's the latest on it...

project has very little chance of dropping...

why?

MONEY

no1 is happy with the pay split...

theres way too much drama surrounding this project...to the extent where many w/o hesitation have said "213 is never gonna drop"...

my opinion:

this album won't drop...

3 dudes with 3 HUGE EGOs...yes, even Warren...these guys are TOO BIG for eachother now...

this album WAS supposed to drop in the next few months...doesn't seem likely at all n e more...Warren and Nate don't even tour with Snoop...Daz, being on So So Def, still tours with Snoop occassionaly..

Kronik posted that in their forum.  dunno how reliable it is, but I believe it.  Supposedly best friends growing up together their whole lives, yet they can't even record an album together these days because money is too big of an issue.  Yet they are not sellouts huh?

I lost all hope for this album when they said "213 coming Dec. 03"....

And I know this shit aint gonna happen now....Im just hoping for a miracle now.

Honestly, I'd rather hear a new Warren G & Nate Dogg solo. The 213 album wasn't sounding too nice anyways, so it's not a big loss.

Don't get me wrong I really wanted this album to drop like everyone else, but  there's two sides to this argument. For one thing, 213 were gonna be working with The Neptunes on this album. I cannot imagine what a combination like this would've sounded like but I'm pretty confident that it wouldn't be the 213 G-Funk we wanted! Secondly, several of the snippets that were posted sounded average at best and I started thinking what if the album wasn't the classic we were all expecting? Thirdly, we're in a completely different time slot from '93 and 213 would never have sounded like we wanted them to (that old school 'Doggystyle' type sound). Snoop's on all that pimp and playa stuff rhymes wise, whilst Warren's lyrics have improved but his flow can't hold a light to his music from the 'Regulate' era. If you think about the 213 thing like that, its not quite so bad...

That said, I still desperately want the record to drop!
