yup that all fair.. but this board is NOT a direct link to illegal music, and wont become such.

and btw.. the 'other guy' posting on this thread, altho he dont post much is b-please who used to run wckillaz.com.. me and him started this board.. nearly 3 years ago ;) (boards birthday is real soon)

I agree with that to a degree. I usually download 2-3 songs off an album. If I like them, I buy the album. If I didn't like them all I might download a few more too decide. I rarely download a full album, I only do if it's a mixtape or out of print, and even then I try to buy them.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
