Shade Sheist Leaves Baby Ree - January 26, 2004 By : NimaAs of last Thursday, Shade Sheist has been released from Baby Ree Entertainemt. Sheist is running his own label PYO (Put Yourself Out) Entertainment, and everything is cool with Baby Ree, check back with us real soon for the whole scoop.
Yeah, I just hope he'll keep releasing music with Damizza and N.U.N.E. They complement each other very well, I think.
I am not Shade Sheist, but I do work for the same firm as his official public relations agent. It is true that Shade Sheist has left Baby Ree after 7 years. All parties are being tight-lipped about the situation but it definitely has nothing to do with greed, as it is public knowledge that Shade made the most money from the company. It appears Shade wants to focus on he and N.U.N.E.'s new corporation 'Put Yourself Out Entertainment'. Shade is also not jealous of Knocturnal (who contrary to popular belief is not signed with Baby Ree either) and in fact considers him one of his best friends inside this 'industry'. It has been said that Damizza may now close down Baby Ree and sign over to P3 entertainment, the management firm that Shade was actually working with for the past 6 months. According to www.putyourselfout.net, anyone interested in interviewing Shade Sheist to get his side of the story may do so by using the email link provided. More news to come.WestCoast Unknown: Shade Sheist was never fond of "Where I Wanna Be" or "What Would U Do" two of his biggest singles. He will admit that he didn't want to record either of the two but is thankful for the popularity of the records.
