I can't understand why some things if done by Dre are wise business moves and if done by some others is because they're selling out.

BTW, Storch didn't say shit we didn't know. In fact, he didn't say shit.

"The whole family is gonna be on there," Storch said.

well i hope he gonna put warren g on it this time, coz warren g is definately his family. the closest out of all of them. thats his brother!
he better put him the fuck on his album or he a bitch. warren was never really on a dre album.
that song "deez nuts" isnt included, coz he only talking at the start on the phone intro. that aint shit.
i wanna hear warren rappin a verse with dre on a dre beat on his album,
you know what im sayin,.... the two brothers rappin on dre's last album.
that's somethin thats gotta happen!!!!

Personally, if you feel putting 50 on Dre's 'Detox' is selling out than that's your own personal opinion. However, whoever the rapper I'm always gonna look at putting 50 on your record as a wise decision, maybe not musicaly but in terms of shifting units. I can see why some people may regard that as selling out, but like him or not 50 Cent is hands down one of the most well known, and commercially successful out there right now. I said the same thing about Knoc-turn'al's album when I found out 50 was gonna be on it. If that helps him sell better (and there's a good chance it might) then I'm happy for him because in my eyes he deserves to blow. If Dre putting 50 on his tracks helps make people go out and buy 'Detox' then I'm for it. Who's to say they won't come out with some hot music together anyway? You can't judge what you haven't heard...And if you think about logically then there's the obvious reason as to why 50's on that CD (as someone else pointed out) - because he's signed to Shady/Aftermath and Dre wants to promote his own artists which is his decision.

a wack opinion! lol

i cant stand 50, but 50 cent is basically the new milenium east coast version of dr dre (like he was back in the days)
killing people, doing drugs, being hard, i really dont see how its selling out to put 50 cent on Detox

He said: "I'd describe it as the most advanced rap album musically and lyrically we'll probably ever have a chance to listen to."

they got over 100 beats done, none is named, no beats chosen yet..
so how can he say the album gonna be lyrically advanced ?

with dre rappin on it ?
50 cent ? g-unit ? cmon... snoop ? nope nope nope

the only advanced rapper on there, might be ice cube or mc ren...if they gonna be featured at all..

^^it sure won't be the most advances album ever lyrically but I still don't see ur point, he said over 100 records are done, not instrumentals.. how does it matter whether they got names for the tracks or not to judge the quality of the lyrics..?

and if Em ain't lyrically advanced in ur opinion then Cube and Ren sure aren't either as they ain't even close to him

i guess Scott Storch has never listened to "Rhythmalism" or "Under Tha Influence"...huh....not really surprised...he's just probably too busy in all sucking on Dre's dick all the time....it's understandable...

i forgive him....

everyone talks about people selling out and shit
if u were in their place and it came down to u making a few commercial joints and making 4 -5 million or doing ur thang and going straight hardcore and selling 200 000 units i'd love to see what half of u would do confronted with that decision
all them rappers who here about this sell out shit about them just laugh at y'all while sitting in their million dollar homes
