yea, I'm not positive what he's getting at either. I mean, we could line up all the famous christian people on one side, and all the famous muslim people on the other, and It wouldn't even be close to close. So the 'bandwagon' approach ain't gonna convert anybody, LOL.
This is a grossly arrogant view of the world, American's make up only 6% of the world, but in your grafted view the accomplishments of other races and cultures are secondary. It wasn't until after World War 2 that the US became a superpower. And 50 years from now we may no longer be a superpower. Regardless, you are forgetting the major accomplishments to Science, Mathematics, Philosophy, that have been made in the Muslim world. Islam ruled the world from 600 AD to 1300 AD.
reread it. I didn't say americans, I said christians. You know, the biggest religion in the world? And aren't you the one always saying the christian world rules entertainment, and the music industry, and blah blah blah blah blah . How can you argue that there aren't more famous christians then muslims?
No problem, but take a 15 year old girl in Milwaulkee, where ther'es like no muslims, and ask her who's famous. She probably can't name 1 muslim. So, your argument works both ways. In the middle eastern world, they would still know famous christians, but in america or england, i'm positive there's tons of people who don't know any famous muslims.
