Kobe Leaving The Lakers??

i was watching pardon the interuption on espn and one of the topics was the lakers

they went on to say that negotiations between the lakers and phil jackson have stopped for the moment and his contract runs out at the end of the season

shaq apparently isnt happy with this as he likes jackson

when kobe was asked about it he said " i don't really care"

one of he presentors said that he thinks Kobe will leave next season as he cannot give 100%. he said if it was up to him he would try to trade for Iverson.

With Malone out till mid-late march it could be interesting.

personally i hope he doesnt leave wat yall think??

Most of the sports analysts think he'll end up with the Clippers next year since they will have a ton of cap room, and he woudln't have to move.

Yeah the three rumours I have heard touted are:

1) Return to his hometown Philly, via a trade with Iverson.
2) Trade Bryant for Mcgrady, as Mcgrady is apparantly getting very frustrated at the lack of success at Magic.
3) Become a free agent and sign with Clippers or I think it was Utah, as both these teams have a lot of cap room left.

i dont see much benefit for the magic or bryant if he goes to orlando. they'd be in the same situation one great player doing everything.. although mcgrady in la is a nice thought...

I heard the same thing but he' wont be leaving for the clippers or anything but actually the San Quentin State Butt-Plugs.

The only advantage I can see is that if he is going to leave they want to actually get somebody of similar quality in return. If they waited another season he could just leave as a free agent and they would lose the opportunity to use him in a trade.

Clippers Really Need a Good Guard, Hopefully They do Get Kobe, We Can Get To The Playoffs again and win our first Championship...Brand Is the best foward in the game IMO, and corey magette is a great sf/sg.... all they need is a good center and a good guard and they will be unstoppable..And Dunleavy can finally get a championship ring, after wastin his years @ portland

Well If Kobe doesnt get traded and is a free agent I heard he will sign with Memphis because their GM is now Jerry West (who drafted Kobe) and they have a very good relationship with each other apparantly.

1.Philly fans do not want this and whoever is controlling the sixers should know this.

2. McGrady has a consistent back problem and even when hes healthy he seems to always be complaing about his back.

I would rahter want kobe to stay....the only player i will be happy with by him being traded is Garnett...thats the only player
