E-White was signed to Death Row Records?
« on: February 17, 2004, 09:17:54 AM »
I didn't think this was true but one of the questions in the DannyBoy interview was

How can we believe his cd will drop when every artist says their dropping, but never do (E White, Eastwood, Realest, Soopafly etc)

DB's reply was something like "EWhite, I dont really know who that is, must have been an artist while I was back in Chicago"

I found it funny how DannyBoy didnt even know who E-White is! After all he is on Dogghouse, one of the leading Westcoast labels.  :D

E-White is ImO mad overrated. Fact is: he doesnt have an album out. He hasnt yet expressed his full potential. He aint on the same level of Crooked I or Sly Boogy or Bad Azz (young cats who are good to write, but good to rap too), he doesnt have a good flow, he's just a good ghost-writer. So what's wrong in what DB said? Obviously Suge told him to say so, but it aint wrong at all, ImO. Who the fuck is E-White? Outta this forum and outta Snoop Dogg's hardcore fans, who is E-White? Nobody. The industry doesnt know him. Rap listeners around the world doesnt know him.

P.S. No, i really doubt he was signed to Death Row.

i think e-white is very talented.
i think more ppl will know of him than ppl will knowof crooked i, thats if he stays with snoop. and im not dissing crooked i, coz he is dope. and now we will finally get to hear a crooked i album since he's off tha row.
e-white makin moves you know,... he got a mixtape comin out in 2 weeks. you'll see that he will come with heat

LOL, there is nothing special at all about E-white, just a lot of dpg groupies.  I could eazily name 100 rappers waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy better than E-white.

LMMFAO!  ok, and what have they done that makes them a leading westcoast label?

I don't know why peeps are so up on dpg these days, really they suck nowadays aside from Tray deee, goldie loc, and bad azz.  Yall need to listen to some more rap.

e-white was never signed to tha row.

the question wasnt directly about row artists, it was a more general question about rappers whose albums never come. thats why danny boy actually had little clue who e-white is.

IMO E-White is dope. Nothin' special, but better than an average gangsta rapper. Same with Bad Azz.

I didn't put 'em on the same level. I made a similar comparison. Bad ain't nothin' special in the lyrical department, but he's dope as fuck for a gangsta rapper.

as far as gangsta rappers go I would say bad azz is pretty lyrical.  Eazily the most lyrical out of the dpg camp imo.

i think e whites pretty tite, nuthin special though besides his voice, cause his voice is tite as fuck.  id also say bad azz is a lot better than e, not taking anything away from him but bad azz is fucking ill.
