I think this may be the first classic album since Masta Ace Disposable Arts.............i mean, it is not flawless, but not all classic albums are flawless.  I would consider NO Way out by P Diddy as a classic, and i only like about 6 songs........

Still, this Kanye west album coulda been better,   HOME, OUT THE GAME, MY WAY, og Family BUsiness, etc

The replay value is whoaaa and there are like 2 average songs there, but they're still listenable. The whole album just so goddamn soulful and the CD dropped at the right time, it's different and.. whoo it's classic album in my opinion.

Am I the only one not feeling this album?

Maybe its cause i'm white and im in college, but i thought the album was pretty wack.  There were about three or four songs that i really liked and then maybe two decent tracks and i thought the rest of the album was garbage.

im white and im in college and i loved the album.

That makes no sense at all, how can you only like 6 songs on an album and call it classic?

dope album.  I gie it 10/10.  Skits are dumb as fuck but you find em on most albums nowadays.

Well, perhaps i could call it a classic because of the impact, the amazing singles, the fact it was THE album of '97.  I mean, ya, there are some very average songs on NO Way Out, and maybe i like few more than 6.

My point being, not all classic albums are flawless, and not all flawless albums are classics..........like people saying kanye's album isnt classic because of the skits and a song or two is stupid.  No one said that about the Chronic because of the skits and Lyrical Gangbang..

But it's just too much on College Dropout, 6 skits and a couple of weak songs make 8 skippers outta 20, that's damn near half the album.  It just ruins it for me.  The Chronic has 2 skipper outta 16 (for me, I like "Lyrical Gangbang") which isn't too bad, and an album like The Chronic is going to have way more impact then College Dropout.

And the "not all classic albums are flawless, and not all flawless albums" is correct.  Nas' The Lost Tapes is flawless but no classic and Ready To Die is classic but not flawless.
