Actually it ain't a religious stands, 'cause in the old testament, God said that for certained crimes, it is right to stone the person to death. The old testament, which is also the Jewish bible, and I think the Quran, says it's OK to stone people to death. Isn't it alright to stone a woman to death for adultry, or having sex before marriage? So why not murder. I'm just against it myself.

Well to get a lil religous here, Sikhism doesnt say anythin bout taking another persons life.  The person shall suffer mentally, and in his afterlife or whatever.
