Man, this thread is LAME! Seriously, the albums are NOTHING ALIKE, not at all. If you dont like the "chipmunk" shit, fine. But on a lot of songs, Kanye actually says something meaningful, whereas 50 just talks about being a P.I.M.P., or being In Da Club, or being "High All the Time". 50s album is good for what it is, Kanyes is also good for what it is. I wouldnt personally call either classics, although who knows what the future holds. One thing is i would call In Da Club a classic song.....but the album? THats tough....
listen the only muh fuckers who released anything relatively close to a classic within the genre of hip hop was outkast

What's worse is getting out rapped by Lloyd Banks. LOL! Jigger, Kweli and Common are 3 ACCOMPLISHED LYRICISTS. It's an honor to rap with them. Lloyd Banks is a boring version of Fabolous. You're funny. Please man. Release the dick, 50 has enough cock jockies. Kanye may not be too complex, but he has a meaning behind his lyrics. Something 50 doesn't. Kanye is far from wack, lyrically. Listen to "Jesus Walks," "All Falls Down," "Never Let Me Down," Kanye spits some crazy shit. Kanye is a rapper first, and he's still years ahead of 50. Ain't that sad.02-kanye_west-we_dont_care-rns <----Hot03-kanye_west-graduation_day-rns (1:22)04-kanye_west-all_falls_down_(feat_syleena_johnson)-rns <---Perfect05-kanye_west-ill_fly_away-rns <---Tight06-kanye_west-spaceship_(feat_glc_and_consequence)-rns <---Perfect07-kanye_west-jesus_walks-rns <---Perfect08-kanye_west-never_let_me_down_(feat_jayz_and_j_ivy)-rns <---Perfect09-kanye_west-get_em_high_(feat_talib_kweli_and_common)-rns <---Perfect11-kanye_west-the_new_workout_plan-rns <---Funny12-kanye_west-slow_jamz_(feat_twista_and_jamie_foxx)-rns <---Perfect13-kanye_west-breathe_in_breathe_out_(feat_ludacris)-rns <---Filler15-kanye_west-school_spirit-rns <---OK18-kanye_west-two_words (feat_mos_def_freeway_and_the_harlem_boys_choir)-rns <---Perfect19-kanye_west-through_the_wire-rns, <---Perfect20-kanye_west-family_business-rns <---Perfect21-kanye_west-last_call-rns <---PerfectNot a classic or even perfect album, but much better than ANYTHING 50 has done.I dug the production on Kanyeezy's album, too. It varied, unlike 50's. Post up some lyrics from 50 since you SWEAR that he has amazing lyrics.
