Can someone please explain to me how you can just lose master recordings of 2Pac? This is 2Pac for cryin out loud!!!!! I thought DR had approx half and Duck Down had the other and it was a legal issue preventing them from putting it out. I just dont get how someone could lose track of something so important. Even if they do find the recordings and decide to put it out by the time they do, it wont be the One Nation that we expect, It'll be "Whatever Producers Hot Nation."

^^^^True...seems like Afeni & Interscope simply
love
remixing Pac songs with more popular artists.
The latest rumor/news is that Obie will be on Pac's new album (on a song called Hennessy).

Daz probably has them.
This is an interview excerpt from mtv.com regarding Daz's upcoming projects as of 03/30/1998.
But even as his own album prepares to ship, Daz admits having his
hands filled with various other projects, including working with Soopafly, a
rapper who also appears on Daz's record, assembling "Suge Knight: Death Row
Records," a compilation of old and new songs from the notorious label's roster,
and is even putting the finishing touches on another posthumous Shakur album,
"Makaveli: One Nation."
"Tupac made enough songs to last us 20 years," Daz said. "I'm doing
beats on every track there. This is some stuff that we did. He rhymed and I'm
putting the track to it."
No word yet on when these other projects will be completed, but we'll
keep you posted.
This next is an excerpt from an interview Daz did online with RawDawgz.net a few months ago.
Daz: "Daz got.. I got 15 more 2pac songs, aint nobody gone never hear, until 2050 or something.
Interviewer: You want to put them out 2050?
Daz: "You damn right.. and I put the makaveli and dillinger album out."
Damn 15 songs? that’s about an album. And when you think that songs like "Let's Fight," a One nation album track, was on Makaveli and Dillinger kinda makes you wonder. Not that I'm passing judgment, personally I'd feel more comfortable with them in Daz's hands. Afeni would massacre that album, fuckin woman never ceases to amaze me.

Totally False!!! The One Nation album wasn't completed in Tha Row studios. Some tracks were, but others were done outside, and there was no way possible for Daz to get his hands on the one nation masters.
Daz does have some 2Pac tracks but not a lot!! His stories are simply to cause tension, and re-spark old beef with Suge/Death Row, and to give him a little extra promotion. You'll notice how these stupid rumours start near the time an album from his camp is to be released.

daz took reels of 2pac music from deathrow to remix in 97,he chopped them up bacc then and held on to the copies when he left death row.so yes he may have copies but suge knight has everything 2paccs ever did that is fact because pac kept copies at death row of everything.why do u think suge name is on all of 2pacs new albums and death row logo is there?

Yep Daz wanted to "Dilute" tracks to double the number. I really don't see the point though. Tracks Pac done with various topics had the same message. For y'all real out there you'd know that, but even the fake like Daz ovbiously can't peep game and recognise what's real. Keep a track with 4 verses, 4 verses cause they givin out the same messgae but if it get's chopped and screwed then the track is fucked
