Houston Rap veteran Scarface will be awarded with a Living Legend Award at the annual Listen And Exchange conference February 27.

Industry veterans and upcoming artists will honor the legendary rapper/entrepreneur with a special tribute at the Hotel-Galleria in Houston, Texas.

"We are proud to bestow this prestigious award upon Scarface," said Dedra Davis, an entertainment attorneyand founder of Listen and Exchange. "He is anastounding example of Houston's homegrown talent. He is definitely an inspiration to aspiring artists."

In addition to having a chance to meet the rapper, the conference serves as an educational tool for hopeful artists and future moguls.

Artists can receive advice from five platinum producers, including Beyonce's father and manager, Mathew Knowles.

"I was repeatedly being approached by producers who wanted advice on having their music heard," Davis said. I knew that I had the contacts and expertise to bring the two sides together. The event was formed to bring entertainers and entertainment industry decision-makers from all over the world together."
