remember how easy it was to get albums back when alex's ftp was working? we need to do that shit again...if we get shut down again this time we'll just open another one. i dont know much about ftps at all so i dont konw maybe they cost money or something...but either way it'd be nice to have that again.

I had no internet for 4 days cause of it. Even though we stopped the server they still cut it along with 5 or 6 others in the area due to the huge amount of traffic we were causing. I was up at like 4.5 gb upped a day for almost a month   I wish I could re open the server but it just can't happen. What we need is to get people to use BitTorrent and then we can share albums and songs that way, would be really easy.

looks shit to me, edonkey is better because we'd be able to put the links directly on the board..

there are several edonkey clients out there too.. i think emule is the best.. not sure..

well i mean in terms of passing links arond.. i mean.. u can just email edonkey links.. ya dont have to have a server for the lil torrent file.. kinda sux..

y dont you guys cre8 another ftp with a limited amount of bandwitdh usage...or a limited no of users...i mean its not everyone here has a T1 line or sumthing.
Bittorrent goes so slow if just start it up..you gotta w8 for sometime before it picks some speed.

This Emule thing is wack as hell, everything is queued at like 674 people and shit like that, and it doesn't even tell you until you actually click to download the file if its gonna be queued or not. Think i'll stick to Soulseek.
