Are there any programs to change a file's format from esc or Mediaplayer to MP3

I jus got the Cee-Lo Green is the soul machine zip file and I can only play it in Real player...no problem with that but I want to burn it to a CD but I don't want to waste one if I cant play it anywhere as a esc file.  I also copied a few CD's on Media Player but I can't burn them because my burner program doesn't recieve media player type files...the CD's I put on media player are still Media player files, everytime I try and burn it through media player it fails.  Anyone's help will be greatly apreciated.
