of course its obsessed with snoop dogg, its obsessed with the entire dpg.  there is some peeps on here that really know their rap music, but a majority really only knows rappers that came from the og death row days or are affiliates of them.  I mean it fuckin cracks me up when people say something like daz is one of the best rappers and gonna ressurect the west with his so so gangsta album.  Its also sad that a thread about any random rapper featuring snoop, or a thread about E-white will get way more responses than if I made a thread about Nocturnal Hustlaz.  Most people on here don't even know who the fuck they are, and won't even check them out, cause they ain't affiliated with dpg or dre.  but the funny thing is their album is 10x better than at least 60% of dpg affiliated albums.  whatever tho, I ain't the one missing out.

yeah i agree...i wish people would just realize that deathrow is dead and most of the artists that were on the OG deathrow are either A) Dead, B) Washed Up, C) Gone on to better things....in short the row is dead and gone and people should stop acting like "Tha Row" will resurrect the west.

How the hell do you expect people from the UK to know about Nocturnal Hustlaz, when their album only sold 10 copies in the entire bay area...?

umm this forum has people from the US.  and I have put up a song on sounclick and shared with the entire forum, and I got like one reply to it.  Plus you can d/l the album at least.  I mean if you over in the UK and you can't get the album, unless you wanna spend like $30 for it, which is ridiculous, at least you can enjoy the music.  I mean it ain't like that is hurting an artist, cause those people ain't gonna be able to buy it anyways.  and at least if they download it and enjoy it, maybe one day they will have the opportunity to buy it.  and I was just using NH as an example, I coulda put plenty of rappers in as that example.

...lol now i know you guys are not trying to infer peoples from U.k dont know...especially not just because they may not be from the U.S ... that aint the be all n end all to acquiring hiphop history / knowledge...

...thats why we here we all got different background / musical influences / knowledges / interests etc ... why its cool on a board like this cos we can share...

...fuck the haters and fuck the groupies (although i may in someones mind fit into a Cube groupie) ... i like what i like and i have an open mind to listen to new stuff all the time...thats it no more no less...

...i believe snoop will never make an album greater than Doggystyle....but maybe thats cos i bought it the first day it was out... maybe memories attached to it as well...who knows....what i do know is snoop had diversified like lots of artists who want to remain in the game (lol madonna) i dont rate some fo his latest work in comparison to the earlier stuff but thats my opinion and no-one elses...

...if someone wants to diss on a plain given opinion, set out in a constructive manner and without reference or disrespect towards anybody else...

...well they livin sad lives then...

...however if im one of those who goes out of his way to be an asshole and only state opinions in a way that is "out of order" then diss  for every crass, foolish, idiotic word said ...lol

Pffffffff...None of you have Karma as low as mine.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

i made a post a few days ago saying something like "snoops always been wack"...then i changed my name to "fuck snoop dogg"...and since i've done that my karma has dropped 5 points and counting...

come on now, it's common sense that if you even say "snoop is really bad at math" your karma is going to go down. so either enjoy that you don't like snoop and you offended his dickriders, or just forget about the karma

I bet Snoop actually posts here and he disses people that diss him and he has his kids help him out with it.
oh yea u seen the 2 smokefest videos? well in the first one they're in japan and their writing on the wall of this room and then in the second one they go back some people have writen shit like fuck snoop dogg. snoop the got wound up n was like "why don't you put your fone number on there so i can haras your mumma" or some shit like that. wouldn't surprised if he checks the message board every now and again and disses the ppl dissing him. just look at daz he starts dissing loadsa ppl when he posts. i waunder if any rapper has been banned from dubcc

iraq would just get annexed by iran

That would be a great solution.  If Iran and the majority of Iraqi's are pleased with it, then why shouldn't they do it?
