Unfortunately we are likely to experience some downtime within the next few days, now i know many of you will ask why cant we prevent this, well i already have once this month and taken dubcnn from 35 gigabytes to 50 gigabytes of bandwidth to ensure we stayed open for the full month. The matter is now out of my hands as i can't increase the limit any further this month and therefore as we approach the limit we are likely going to close.

The reason? Well i'll tell you, its other sites taking our audio links and files and using them as their own or making them available to their viewers. Unfortnately i cannot continue to allow this to happen, as much as i appreciate all the support all the forums and sites give us by linking our files i would prefer you to just link to www.dubcnn.com so people can browse the page and get the files themselves, this will enable us to offer much more to everyone! From now on all hotlinking will be prohibited except to people on the forum, so all our users can still benefit from the features we have. If you are a webmaster of a site or forum and wish to be allowed access to link our files then feel free to contact me for consideration. Please understand that i am doing this to ensure dubcnn can run efficiently and do the best for all its users. Thank you for your understanding.

so to get some dubcnn audio you have to go to the site itself, or click a link on this forum, any audio links on any other forums or sites -will not work-

this doesnt apply to audio on lycos, but that shuts itself down anyways.

this doesnt apply to signature pics which use dubcnn links on other forums, so they shouldnt stop working. its just to stop sites stealing our audio links.

rud's had to fork out a bunch extra this month on hosting for this.. and i just spent ages analysing the server logs trying to work out where all the bandwidth has gone, and why it skyrocketed so fast this month.

BUT we do hope that due to these changes we'll be able to provide a much better direct service for everyone, and that we'll be able to provide a site that doesnt have to go down through bandwidth sucking leeches
