I searched with Packetnews for the album once again, and I found a so called "retail", which has the same size as the previous advanced. So I'll now download the advanced. If it's not the real album, fuck it, I'ma buy it anyway :)

an advance (not advanced) is just a an 'early' version given out to record company/industry people.

i never realised they were actually properly called that until i got one myself with advance printed on. (WC ghetto heisman)

its like a early batch of the release.

most of the time theres not a diff between the versions unless they change something at the very very last minute.

^^ I know that an advance is like a promo, but in my opinion they're often different to the actual releases. I think they usually just put special tracks on it, like it was with Bubba Sparxxx' "Deliverance". I downloaded an advance with only five or six tracks, although the whole album was nearly finished.

Anyway, in the case of the new Dilated Peoples album you seem to be right. I'm downloadin' it with 30kb/s right now 8) I'll compare the tracklist than with the official one.

I have advance, and I got it on bitTorrent through Suprnova.org,  but you seem to have found it on your own. ;D
