i believe since dre owned half the company he had all his publishing rights and when he sold his half to suge, the deal was deathrow was not allowed to release any unreleased dre material without his permission, as he still owns his work, and knowing how suge is, he would not just reach out to dre to get this released, but then again dre prolly don't want it released cuz he only wants to release material he thinks is best, although i wouldn't mind hearing some of that old dre deathrow material

Dr Dre owned half of Death Row Records only. But Suge owned the masters. Dre never owned half of Godfather Entertainment where-as Suge owned a 3rd of that. Now Dre - up until the point of 94 owned his own publishing called "Aint Nothing Goin On But F%!&" music. Suge HAS most of the masters done up until 94 which will include the Helta Skelta album due for release in 1994.

After 1994 Andre worked in his own studio he had, so most of the work after 94 is nowhere in the vaults of Death Row Records!
