What's so special bout a phone number?

I don't know how it is with you and your friends, but even though I am in college, it seems like people are still caught up with gettin numbers, and still act as if it's somethin special. For instance, we'll be at a party, and one dude will be all happy because he got three numbers. Or one dude will always brag, "yeah I pulled like 5 numbers today on campus." I am at the age that I realize gettin a girl's # doesn't mean shiiiiit anymore. Half the time when dudes pull, they don't even call em, or if they do it's only once and nothin happens. But y do dudes put so much emphasis on gettin a #?

its more of a competition thing..... seeing how many numbers you can get is like seeing how many chicks u could pull if u took it further. well thats my guess anyway.

Yea my homie is like that, he's like "Yay I got 6 numbers" and as you said, half the time he dont even call them cause it just for competition. And worst thing is, dude has to drink to get them cause he's so insecure about shit. Fuckin pisses me off

i wouldnt get a number unless i was gonna call it..

i wouldnt get loads in a night.. one of em see's getting one another girl.. or u get a friends one... you're out... but if u aint gonna call.. what the hell.. lol

have never gotten a number.. given mine out..  aint that better?
