Anyone pick this up?
I just got mine yesterday for 24 dollars....the 2 special edition, with photos and a little segment on the plainfield killer in wisconsin Ed Gein that inspired the Texas Chainsaw Massacre....the second disc has alternate endings and openings to the film....well worth the 24 dollars....

The original is better...If it wasn't for the original, where would the horror genre be?

ok so i got a question on this movie...on the cover of the dvd it says "based on a true story"...and in the first like 10 min. of the movie they're talking about how its a true story and blah blah blah...but i could've sworn i heard that it was all bullshit...so is it true? i mean...obviously it was BASED on a true story so im sure it was exaggerated but did some of this shit really happen?

It is all bullshit...It's VERY LOOSELY based on Ed Gein, who never even live in Texas...Pretty much they just used the tag-line for promotion and publicity...

P.S. I got the DVD today from Target for $29.99, since Circuit City was out...PeACe

Yeah, my homie tried to get it at Circuit City the other day and they were out, so he got the one disc one for 15.99 lol....I think Circuit City only had a limited supply of the 2 disc special edition
