Who came the tightest on "U Ain't Fresh"?

This is one of the hardest songs ever. I can't decide who ripped it the hardest between Kam & Quik. They both came so dope on it.

And you haters trippin' cause I got the key to the city
Not a sissy but the hoes keep callin' us pretty
And you mad 'cause the bitch got me on her titty
Mr. Troutman talk me talkbox, do why diddy!
And I'll tell you to your ear, nigga, you sound shitty
I'll take your hoe up to the room and show her no pity
So call me DJ Meow Mix 'cause we gets kitty

I remember he spoke on it. He said it wasn't a diss to Dre, but it's pretty obvious that it is. ;) That's all squashed now, him & Dre are cool.

Kam.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

What? No one is voting for Erick Sermon?

I have to give it to Kam on this one, but it's close.

I like Eric Sermon's part where he talks about how he comes through like a tornado and rips up floors or whatever.

Quik is such a bitch for this, though.  He's OBVIOUSLY dissing Dr. Dre, there's no question.  When they asked him about it, though, he was trying to get together with Dre to make a couple songs, and he acted like he was dissing Ice Cube.  There's NOTHING in that to point at Ice Cube hardly.  He of course had beef with Cube over Mauseburg and shit, but he was obviously dissing Dre.  Dre's got a nipple ring, he dissed that.  Dre's said before he did X with Em and shit.  He dissed that.  Dre's always bein' accused of being gay, he ripped on that.  Dre's a producer, and he says "You keep a whole studio full of ghost producers" or whatever.  I dunno why he punked out and had to lie about it.

Yeah I remember the bit about Ice Cube. I cant remember what interview, but Quik said the diss in "U Aint Fresh" was directed at Cube which is obviously not true. I guess he didnt say Dre cause they squashed the beef at that time and the Ice Cube/Mausberg beef was still goin on. Quik adressed the "beef" with Cube & DPG on "Status"

i remember early news on either ice cube's War or Peace disk, that DJ Quik was supposed to produced a song...then that beef cam up.....what was that beef actually about? was it just because Cube was stealing Mausberg's lines?
