this movie was awesome...probably the best of the comic movies so far imo...it was really funny too...but very creative...thats one of the things i think made it so good was that everything that happened in the movie was very creative...i would definetly give this movie a 9/10

I havent seen a movie this bad since 28 days later and ecks vs sever(which is IMO, some of the worst movies i've ever seen...)

This movie reminded me alot of ecks vs sever...bad acting, bad script, bad action...i couldnt find anything that was good bout this movie...it was fucking garbage

- When his family dies, he dosent even seem like he cares...he comes back to that house...then all of a sudden he's in an apartment, full of guns(i dont even know how the hell he got all those) its like, oh somehow i got all these guns here, now i will get my revenge!...all these things just happen without any explanations...nothing made any sense...just like ecks vs sever...

- even when a movie has bad dialog, and acting...as long as it at least has good action scenes, i wouldnt mind watching it...but even the action scenes were bad...it was just boring and dull...even the first punisher movie(which was made like over 10 years ago?) had better action scenes then this...this one shouldve went straight to the video or something...

- since this is the punisher, i was expecting more of a gritty, dark movie...but instead this was more like a comedy, with all those lame, "cheesy" scenes with bad dialog...i just couldn't take this movie seriously...i mean just about most of the audience in the theater were just laughing during the movie...even on those "emotional" scenes..which was a joke...some of these actors need to take some acting lessons...

umm...it doesnt seem like he cares? he sits there drinking whenever he's not out taking revenge on the people who killed his family? he wears the shirt his son gave him everytime he's out doing that? are you insane?

i dunno what your talking about but i thought the action scenes were tight...you can't tell me you didnt like the ending...that was dope.

uh huh...hugh jackman and john travolta need to take some acting lessons  

they were supposed to be kind of funny obviously...i wasn't expecting something horribly dark...i thought it was about as dark as it should've been.

yea in the beginning when his family get killed...he does seem to care...for bout 10 secs...then he goes out to kill people. and yea those lil scenes where he's drinking...he dosent even look sad...he just looks like he's drinking for no reason...just sitting there...then goes out to kill again! man this movie was a joke...

I gotta say  IMO, The first punisher was WAY better then this...that one at least was gritty, and a dark movie, with decent action scenes...which is what the punisher should be all about...not a fucking comedy like the new one...

i wouldnt expect him to act the same way 5 months later as he did when he first lost his family.

IMO it was. its suppposed to be a zombie movie but we only see zombies for like 10 mins thoughout the whole movie...wtf that? and all they do is talk talk talk for most of the fucking movie...almost put me to sleep while watching that bullshit.. now dawn of the dead was a dope zombie movie...

It's a FUCKING COMIC BOOK!  Lighten up a little bit.  You have to take movies in context.  It's a comic book.  It's about bad vs. good or in this case bad makes good go bad.  It was good, they couldn't have done it any better for what it was.  It was like watching a cartoon or an animated movie or something.  You don't watch "The Lion King" and compare it to "The Godfather", it's just not going to hold up.  Same thing with this, it wasn't intended to be some tour de force of acting.

uhh i know its based on a comic...but thats not a excuse for the shitty ass acting, action, and dialog...espically considering that other comic book based movies were alot better then piece of shit...they couldn't have done it any better? how do u know that? if they had a better director to do this film and a better script...it wouldve turned out better...shit john woo shouldve directed this one...he would've been perfect for this movie...with him on, there would've been at least some decent action scenes...the thing is , i dont mind those brainless action flicks..as long as it has GOOD ACTION scenes...but i felt like i was watching a tv movie or some shit while watching this..low budget, dull and boring....i think the action scene near the end was decent...thats bout it...

im with trauma...you have to take movies in context. every comic book movie has been corny to a point...c'mon spiderman had some cheesy parts...daredevil....great movie but cheesy as hell....x men was kind of the exception cuz it really wasnt cheesy at all...i expected this to be cheesy and it was a lot less than i expected...it was a great movie.

but i also agree with laz1e...28 days later was a HORRIBLE movie
