NEW PAC ALBUM JUNE 29TH! on Star Trak
« on: April 20, 2004, 07:31:31 AM »
It's coming out on Koch Records (possibly affiliated with Death Row).

According to Afeni, this is one of the last.  :-\

No title for it yet other than "2pac".

On Koch Records' website, Death Row Records and its distributor revealed their plans for the release of another posthumous Tupac LP in the next few months. HitEmUp.com contacted Amaru Entertainment for further information on the release and we were told that this shouldn't be consindered an official Tupac release.

Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, has yet to approve the release of the LP. Although she is consindering to allow Death Row and Koch Records to release the LP, she has not made any decisions yet. If they decide to release the LP without her approval, Amaru Entertainment will aggressively take measures to stop it.

Amaru forced Koch to remove the information about the LP from their website until a final decision has been made.

No. This information is wrong. This is the album I was hearing about a while ago. It contains good quality tracks from his Club 662 performances, mothers day and commercial apperances Including.......................... ROAD TO GLORY

It wouldn't be that hard to imagine, seeing as how a lot of the recent Pac remixes sounded like imitation Neptune beats...

I'm about 80% sure that this is the album that had a gang of tracks on it such as the all time greats like California Love, I Ain't mad at Cha, Dear Mama etc. as well as a few unreleased gems such as road to Glory which has both a live and studio version, which Death Row own the master to. The few unreleased will be more or less from his (proper) Makaveli era (Jun-Sep 96)

Amaru haven't even started working o nthe next 2Pac album and Johnny J hasn't even been contacted regarding any work or constributions to the project.
