It always bothers when people refer to blatant almost unaltered samples and give ownership to the producer, like he really did any thing. From now on instead of saying of which producer has the best beats, or which are his best beats, say which producer picks the best songs to sample and loop, or which of so and so's beats ruined the original song the least.

That would be better and much more respectful to the person that actually composed the music. I understand that hip hop is all about sampling, but it is sampling and there really isn't that much art to it, any studio engineer could it, my main problem is when someone says "it's a Kanye West beat!" and pay no mind to the fact that Ray Manzerick of the  Doors did the whole thing 30 years ago. If rock bands took rappers lyrics over their original peices of music and were praised for their words, that would probably cause an uproar on this forum.
