lyrics are important, u right. i aint a beatmaker or no shit like that, i spit...so obviously they important to me. but think about it, how many hits have good beats....and bad lyrics, and how many have good lyrics....with bad beats? its almost always the first. Like Mitch said..."Production is most important". U could drive around town in yah car bumpin nuthin but a beat, and still be bobbin yah head...still have otha people bobbin they head, but u wouldnt drive around jus listenin to some lyrics, and no beat.
