Evidence or Rahka?
« on: May 12, 2004, 11:05:41 PM »
Which Dilated Person do y'all feel more on the lyrical tip? IMO Rahka is way harder. Evidence is coo', but I never heard him rip a trac like Rahka has several times. Especially on "Session With Babu" or whatever it's called on Neighborhood Watch. Rahka comes hard as fuck.

I always thought people appreciate Ev' more than Iriscience, but obviously that's not the case. I prefer Rahka too.

I turn mics to pistols and start rappin'
And turn pistols back to mics and start blastin' 'em.

I seen apathy, met love and know hate
I'm heavy on the mic, can you handle the weight?

Evidence has always been my favorite, and when you see them live he is by far the better of the two at live performing.

Changes for me.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

I cant decide, both of their flows are tight
For some reason, i really like it when they flow on seperate tracks, not when their together
Like Rakhaa on Joey Chavez Track "Live" his flow was pretty tight on that track and my fav. evidence track was the one he flows with planet asia on babu's CD - "Gold Chain Music"....That was some tight shit
