The New No Limit Records/KOCH Records has announced the release of July 27th release of Silkk The Shocker's new studio album, -Based on a True Story.

-Based on a True Story- is his fifth full-length album in 8 years and follows 2001's gold-certified -My World My Way- and 1999's platinum-plus, -Made Man.-

Silkk has been working on -Based on a True Story- for some time now, his new single, "We Like Them Girls" featuring Master P marks his return to the airwaves, officially impacting at radio on May 24-25th.

The youngest of the Miller brothers has sold more than 3.5 million units to date and has appeared on several No Limit bestsellers including the 2X platinum Tru 2 Da Game, as a member of the group TRU, and the platinum-plus Goodfellas, as a member of the 504 Boyz.

i never picked up his last album, but i have all of his ones from before that. i have alot of the old no limit shit actually, i wonder how this one will be

heres my problem...i picked up his last album...as well as all his albums before it...all the albums before it were really dope...his last album blew fat donkey cock. so this could go either way.
