Nas & Twista Links Up With Mobb Deep, Mobb pushed back..

     Lots of Mobb Deep related news, so let's get into it... Be on the lookout for the remix of "Got It Twisted" which will feature Nas and Twista...... While Alchemist will contribute production on Nas' forthcoming Streets Disciple, Nas will also appear on Al's First Infantry (which Alchemist also rhymes on) LP which is slated to drop on 7-27-04..... Don't look for Mobb Deep's Jive debut, Amerikaz Nightmare, to make its 6-22-04 release date; a mid-July release is the more likely scenario. And contrary to reports, the tracks Mobb Deep recorded with Kanye West and Lil Jon will be on the LP. While Prodigy and Havoc received a very lucrative deal from Jive (who from what we hear really outdistanced themselves from Shady Records, who was Mobb's second choice), the label is also treating them very well, during a recent trip to Vegas, Jive put Hav & P up in Britney Spears' special Bellagio suite as a thank you for signing (what would Britney think?!?!?). But aside from the money and perks, Mobb also received allot of freedom to pursue their other ventures—films etc.... Queensbridge cohort, Littles, is also receiving major-label attention, as label exec's did not fail to notice that he achieved very solid sales units for The Feeding (we were told one major label option is Jive), but Littles is in no rush to sign with a major and is comfortable making up his own rules. In other news, look for Val Kilmer to appear in Littles upcoming DVD, as dun is reportedly a big Mobb Deep head!! - Matt Conaway

Updated, Hiphopsite reports that Nas is on the remix too..
I don't mind it being pushed back though, as long as the remix is firmly placed on the CD..

quote me on this,  im a big mobb deep fan but no matter how dope this album is,  its goin flop sales wise.  Pushin an album hurts an album.  an with the single got it twisted has got buzz but by the time the album comes out the buzz will be gone
