I never really been a big too short fan, and I haven't even heard shake that monkey.  Stop hatin?  Pleeze Rod, I probably heard more bay area rap music then damn near everybody on this forum.  Nothing wrong with short dogg at all.  I got some of his albums, he is cool, he just ain't a rapper I am too into.  And just because a song gets hella radio play, doesn't mean its a good song.  I could care less who gets radio play.  and I have always had respect for Too Short, don't tell me bout respect.  Same thing with NWA.  I ain't too much of a fan of their's, but I definately like their shit and give them mad respect, but I hardly bump their music ever.  And anyways here is some old school bay rappers I would much rather see and give respect to over too short:
