Thanks Crafty, MOB and XOver. . .I don't exactly know whats going on at Death Row right now, but I do know what DB is doing, I speak to the Platinum Pearl guys daily. In regards to Tha Row. I believe things are at a stand still - but for a reason. For the simple fact of that true saying, 'rome was not built in a day!'. We all know that G Unit, 50 Cent, Shady Records and Rocafella have the game on lock right now - fan or not. Back in 92, Death Row started a new movement that was founded by NWA, Comptons Most Wanted and Ice T, what we call "Gangsta rap". Death Row took Gangsta rap to a whole new movement, they took it to the media and mainstream, from 92 until 96! Those days can never be re-lived nor braught back and Suge knows this. Right now there is no new movement opportunites for Suge Knight, Death Row Records and every other talented camp such as Above The Law, IV Life Records, Jayo Felony, Crooked I. Unless you are on that eastcoast bandwagon you dont stand a chance. One other thing to remember, Death Row was built on a Family. You had The Chronic introduce Doggystyle, Doggystyle led onto Dogg Food. There was poetry in motion. If Kurupt drops and its a success, thats great, but what then?Every fan of the label needs to sit back and give thinga time. Thats my outlook on the situation.Whatever move Death Row take next will surprise me, and a surprise it will be im sure. . .
