the 'dre' feel may be down to the fact that Dre mixed pretty much the whole album!

its more likely that soopafly ghostproduced for daz, he has admitted himself that daz paid him under the table for beats, and he did the keys for most of daz' beats in that time. i think he ghostproduced "lets play house", since he played the keys, and they play a big part of that song.

imo

daz didnt want dre on the cd becuz of what happen on the chronic...i remember daz on a fuck dre spree many moons back, kuz it was numerous songs he produced on the chronic and never got credit 4 or paid..4 along wit warren and others..

not only could dre have had ghost produced some songs.. but dj quik could have too, quik was around the camp around that time..and the cd does say david blake, instead of quik..why would he say david and not quik? and alot of those songs does have a quik sound..and has his signature bells

Daz was asked in an interview what songs he produced on The Chronic and Doggystyle, and there weren't many, he just wants the credits for those few songs. And DJ Quik was listed as David Blake not to trick people who didnt know he produced on albums, but just for legal reasons.

I remember that Daz said he produced ''Rat-tat-tat-tat'' and the song where even Dre says ''Daz kick that beat man'' was it ''Lyrical Gang Bang'' or something like that...
"Hip Hop was better off when it was just Dre, Scarface, and Esco"

Yup! And I refuse to believe Kurupt produced "So Much Style". That beat has Soopafly's sound all over it. I heard that on the remastered version of "Dogg Food", they list Soopafly as the producer of "So Much Style". Can anyone confirm this?

If Kurupt doesnt know how to produce, how did he do Nate's song Never Leave Me Alone?  Pretty tight beat if you ask me......

I ain't saying he doesn't know how to produce. Just that I don't think he produced that particular song. Listen to "I Will Survive"(produced by Soopafly)off of "Dead Man Walking", and tell me it doesn't sound similar to "So Much Style". Hell, I may be wrong, but SMS sounds too much like Soopafly production to be produced by someone else.

why would suge not give credit to soopafly for a song he produced?  He gave credit to dj pooh for the songs he produced on dogg food.  many of fred wrecks beats or scott storches beats sound just like dre.  you know it is possible to make similar sounding beats from 2 different producers.  Soopafly did the keyboards to so much style, which is probably why it reminds you of that other song off DMW so much.
