Grif could have been a lot more, and he already is a lot. But the injuries kept him from doing what he could have done, so I'm gonna go with Bonds for now.You never know what I might think different in a year or two.

First off, Bonds is not on 'roids. 2nd, I said it back in 1995, 1998, and I'll say it again in 2004, I'll take Bonds over Griffey anytime of the week. Bonds in his prime was the best all around player in the game, only Griffey came close, but Bonds was still better. At the time, Griffey hit for more home runs, but as Bonds became an older, and slower player, he focused on his power game, not that he didn't have one already. But his perfection of his swing, and his larger frame helped him in his power game. To prove he wasn't juiced, he exposed his old man's gut. Bonds has a swing that pulls ahead of a 98 mph fastball, and he changes the whole game when his up to bat, not because of his bulk but because of his swing.

Griffey, easily!!!! All around a much better player then Bonds. Faster, Better baserunner, better in the field, better hitter (like Tom said, without tha roids). The injuries really fucked him up. Imagine what kind of homerun races we would have had over the last few years, if a healthy Griffey was involved!! damn...

btw, to Rampant.  Griffey will be in the HOF.  How can a guy thats one HR shy of being in the 500 club not be in the HOF.  Hes gonna have a few more solid years, even if he doesnt hes still gonn abe a hall of famer

they were discussing this on espn the other day... they said that it doesn't take much to get 500 homeruns these days so that doesn't automatically get you into the hall of fame.  you gotta bring some defense to the table as well... which griffey does.  so if he does get to the hall of fame, it won't be because of his homeruns alone.  i think they brought it up because of sammy sosa... sure the guy can hit the long ball but he's not really what a lot of people consider to be a great ball player.
