People were really anticipating the Crooked I album you produced… Untouchable.

Yeah. It’s funny because the Untouchable record was coming out dope and now… I left like 75% into the Untouchable album, because I just couldn’t tolerate this foolishness, man. Foolishness to the level of business when it’s like… When I come work with you I wanna release projects. Above The Law is basically how I make a living, and if I can’t do that then there’s a problem. On the Crooked I record it was like “What am I making money off here?”, because they never released that project. We recorded two “Untouchables”…

I can't believe I read the whole thing. Great interview tho, one thing I've always liked about above the law is the sense of realness that they have. I know "keep it real" is a meaningless cliche, but they really do embody that. I've always had the utmost respect for those cats for staying true to themselves and not going hollywood.

I liked the Executive Decisions, especially the 1st half of the disc. I havent heard all of the new album yet, im sure it bumps though.

finally had a chance to read the interview. this was long...but interesting, i liked the part about who created g-funk..puts all rumors to rest. i didnt even know that 2Pac was the one who used the word "g-funk" for the first time

Oh yeah. Snoop was discovered by me. Warren G brought Snoop to me. Then when they were doing Death Row and we decided to stay at Ruthless, they were snoopin’ around our studio and he hollered at Warren about Snoop and ended up doing “Deep Cover” the single. We’re all on “Deep Cover” the soundtrack. We were still affiliated with each other, and Snoop was at my studio doing shit at the particular time…

Mmmm, so he created G-Funk, he discovered Snoop.... no, don't tell me more... he released Regulate too, didnt he?
