If the production is right and guests are kept to a minimal, then I think so. He's got the lyrics and flow, he just needs good beats.

Probably not, but there's a small chance..
I can easily see how his album will be riddled with unknown/uninteresting guests, and crossover attempts.
He also need a certain type of beats, his flow doesn't fit every kind of beat.

But if mixed with the right people, then maybe..

I seriously think Crooked would rock better over east coast style production. Pete Rock, Large Professor, Premier, shit would be fucking dope. He can be an awsome lyriccist at times and these beats would suit that.

Crooked I's album "Momas Boy" wont be released anytime soon. . . this fall at the earliest unfortunatly.

As I said, hes heading down south to record with the Sucka Free camp and Lil Flip.

Exactly.  A great album is so much more then just one person.  Alot of it is timing.  Its so rare that a group of people can get together and actually get along well enough to crank out something "great."  That applies to pretty much anything.. not just music.  Theres no real formula to greatness because alot of it has to do with the sign of the times.  Timing is so important.  The Chronic wouldnt have been great based on the music alone.  It was great because the music fit with the times.. it fit with the peoples thoughts.. basically it was dropped at the perfect time.  Success is a combination of two things.  preparation and opportunity.  Kinda like what Quik said.  "If you stay ready.. then you aint gots to get ready.."  (or maybe that was Suga Free.)  No one can predict that kinda shit.. just gotta stay ready to take advantage of opportunities when they come up.

I disagree with that. IMO Crook is one of the best at riding any type of beat.
