Sounds like a good track, over the Message. Looking forward to hearing this.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

It ain't a Cube diss record. I heard it when it premiered and I got more details on it for the people who want it. Its called "The Message" and features Akon. Akon is the dude who did that Locked Up joint with Styles P (he's very talented BTW). Anyway, its about the state of westcoast hip-hop and how we are not getting any love from anywhere outside the region, especially in New York. He throwns in a line about Cube, but thats it. Sorry, I can't get the exact line off my head. The beat is produced by Def Jef, and its a reworked version of that classic Grand Master Flash joint. It's HOT, believe me...catchy as hell. The part of the hook by Kam goes like this: "Don't play me like Westcoast rap is dead/ Y'all tryin' not to break no bread a ha HA ha HA." And yea, it's gonna be on Tech and Sway's "Back to Basics" album.

That Juice song is nice too...

This should be dope. Kam is sick.
Picking up the ball from inside his own half, the pint-sized Argentine skipped past challenge after challenge. Always appearing to be on the point of tumbling, he was miraculously able to retain his balance before rounding Peter Shilton and slotting the ball home for a goal manufactured in heaven.
