lol when you beat Portugal, France, Czech ... that's no coincident anymore. Luck? They didnt play (significantly) worse than either one of the favorites they beat. All players were in the czech side of the field sometimes, and shit. It's not about luck, it's about being the better team without having the better individual players.

They get props, but they have been very lucky as well..
Their main winning point is being extremely well organized, and betting everything on counter-attacks.
It's extremely boring to watch, but it's effective as fuck.
France & Czech couldn't figure out how to get through their defense, mainly because Greece works great as a team machine, without having any extraordinary players.
Czech game was luck, France game was not that much of luck, it was more of a tactic win than anything..
Rehhagel is probably a genius tactician, he's getting a lot out of the player material he got..

Greece have done well to get there but everything has pretty much been designed in Portugals favour.  I mean they get an extra days rest than anybody else, I bet it goes a hell of a long way to building up match fitness.
