anybody know whether or not this game is going to drop on the xbox? i was thinking about selling my ps2 but this game and one other might have me hanging on to it.

My understanding of this is that rockstar gives sony exclusive "launch rights" to GTA. meaning that when it comes out only ps2 gets it.

Then after about a year(?like VC?) it will be released for PC and Xbox

Yup.
But no other platform is confirmed.
PC & X-Box might get it, and if they do, it will probably be at least a year or 2 later.
